Introduction & Services!
I’ve realised I’ve neglected my website slightly and don't think I've posted since the pandemic (how much longer can we use that as an excuse not to be back in the normal working world...?) Anyway, I thought I'd do a quick hello and make people aware of my services!
Hi, my name is Rebecca and I’m a registered Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition. I decided to pursue a career in Nutrition in 2015 after not really finding my passion in the working world and having a huge interest in nutrition and health due to being a 400m athlete and also having struggled with Psoriasis since the age of 14.
I studied a Masters in Nutrition in 2016 and since then gained 3 year’s experience working at Chelsea Ladies Football Club. Alongside working in sports nutrition, I realised how poor athletes relationship with food was and the ever rising pressure athletes placed on themselves to look a certain way. This led me into the route of working in and studying eating disorders and disordered eating. I have since studied 2 MSC Modules @ UCL for Clinical Science and Treatment of Eating disorders, as well as an ED Dietetic Training course at Leeds Beckett. I have gained 3 ½ years experience at inpatient facilities across the Priory and 2 years experience at Day/Outpatient treatment facilities in London. I have become extremely passionate about helping people better not only their relationship with food, but also their own physical and mental wellbeing.
I am in the process of opening my own clinic CLIK Therapy in September 2022 with a colleague, as we want mental health to be accessible to all.
I currently offer in my private practice:
1:1 Nutritional Support
Supported Eating Online Lunch Group
Exposure Food Work (Supermarket Shopping / Café Outings / Lunch / Snack Support)
1:1 Support For Family Members
In September 2022 at CLIK I will also be able to offer:
Monday-Friday in Person Support Eating Lunch Groups
Monday-Friday in Person Supported Eating Snack Groups
